Dana (Donation)
The retreat is provided free of charge. However, we suggest a donation (danna) to help ensure future meditators can benefit from the teachings.

Suggested Minimum Donation: MYR 450.00 per person.

Donations above this amount will support students who may struggle financially, while helping you cultivate the virtue of generosity, which aids in developing the serene mind necessary for meditation.

Eight Preceptors: Latest by 15 August (Friday) before 5:00 PM.

Eligibility
We welcome both males and females lay yogis (upāsaka & upāsikā).

Eight Precepts: All participants are required to observe the Eight Precepts during the retreat.

Ten Precepts: Those wishing to Go-Forth for temporary ordination as Samanera (novice monk) or Samaneri (novice nun) must observe Ten Precepts.

Daily Schedule
The program includes:

Morning Homage: Salutation to the Triple Gems.

Meditation Practices: Sitting, standing, and walking meditation.

Daily Interview with the Teacher.

Evening Dhamma Talk: Based on Sutta teachings relevant to the topic of the retreat.
Attire
Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that does not produce noise.

A BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF VENERABLE OBHĀSA THERI
Venerable Obhāsa is a Hong Kong born Bhikkhunī well trained in the Mahayana and the Theravada traditions.

Dana Contribution
1. For Dhamma Activity - Lodging & Meals
Lodging and two meals vegetarian food will be provided by the BSF Retreat Centre. No fees or charges is imposed. We welcome your Dana contribution for this Dhamma activity, help to defray the cost of this Meditation Retreat. These include water, electricity, utilities.... etc. at the BSF Retreat Centre.

2. For Sangha-teacher's travelling expenses, airfares.
On the last day of the Retreat, there will be the Observant of six (6) Precepts, and Sharing Session with Ven. Obhasa after breakfast. The Retreatants can offer 'Ang Pow packet' onto a tray for the Teacher (Ven. Obhasa) as part of the contribution for the purchase of air-tickets.
