Online 9 Days Zens Retreat

We sincerely invite you to participate in this online nine-day meditation event. This retreat will provide the master with visual teachings and individual interviews to follow up on your learning progress and lead you on the path to awakening through meditation at home.

 

The meditation arrangement is as follows:

time:
At 6:30 in the morning, I took refuge in the Three Refuges and received the 6 Precepts, read the Dhammapada Verses and meditated.

 

Morning and afternoon:
Meditate on your own (if possible) for a total of two to three hours, which can be divided into periods in the afternoon

 

9:00-10:00 p.m. One hour of teaching and group sharing, including 10 minutes of group Q&A

10:00 pm with Master Venerable Obhasa.

 

This meditation focuses on the 6R and the "Brahmavihara Meditation" : Loving kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity as the objects of meditation. It is based on the basic principles of Buddhist scriptures and practices, and finally leads the meditation power to the experience of Nirvana.


The foundation of the Four Foundations of Mindfulness (effectively observing the four aspects of life existence)
Content: The meaning of the five aggregates

  1.  Characteristics of the three Dharma Seals

  2. The Truth of the Four Noble Truths

  3. Seven Factors of Enlightenment

  4. The Eightfold Path to Purify Life

  5. Life Pattern - Twelve Links of Interdependence

We believe that these nine days of meditation will bring you deep inner experience and growth. Through meditation at home, you will be guided by the Master and embark on your own path to awakening.

禪修中,有一位很重要的老師。禪坐需要學習一些技巧;在日常學習之後,若有人為自己點撥一下,會有很多裨益。《法句經》教導我們「心是主,諸法唯心造」。定敏法師教導我們心念的重要性,不僅影響著我們的生活、口業,甚至在人生臨終時最後的一念善或一念惡,決定了一個人帶著什麼樣的業力,接下來前往何方。

法師再次講到十二因緣中的貪嗔癡,嗔和我執對我們人生的影響。這次的教導讓我更清晰地了解自己為什麼在面對某些人的反應時會有這樣的情緒,以及應該如何處理日常生活中發生的問題。我不要與他人培養無謂的怨恨和憤怒,不讓生活的困擾影響我太多。

當覺得自己的心很煩時,要找方法讓自己清靜、寧靜下來。被法師的一句「未轉為聖者前,永遠都有煩惱心」嚇了一下後,深感「咁咪有排煩」!法師在開示時,突然又說了一句「佛陀沒有教導我們要心靜,佛陀教導我們要醒覺」。那時候,突然當頭棒喝!醒未呢?事後,心裡勾起了佛陀的「手指非月」故事。

人生匆匆,我們的心積累了很多東西,沒有察覺到,其實阻礙著我們的心。慢慢地,不知不覺之間,形成了許多執著。法師問我們:其實執著什麼呢?當有一天離開的時候,我們是否也要執著這些東西離去呢?在繞益禪中,讓我領悟到,嬰孩一出生時,沒有人教,便懂得笑。他們走過來,要我們原諒,我們也很容易原諒他們。然而,不知道什麼時候,人年紀越來越大,連嬰孩都不需教就已懂的微笑,自己也要重新學習,並且要重新學習原諒,自己原諒別人。

佛法有很多需要學習的地方,或許需要時間去消化、融會貫通。感恩定敏法師及其老師多年來積聚的經驗和領悟,慈心禪中所教導的「6R」是一個很好的方法。我們要笑,心笑、口笑、眼笑、腦笑。讓心笑得好像蓮花一樣綻放。

將笑融入生活,變成習慣,提升覺察力,學會轉念。讓自己學習一早起床,要「笑」著迎接每一天,每一天都是美好的新開始。有一句歌唱道「笑一笑,世界更美妙!」

但願當一天離開的時候,我也能「笑著走」!
